NFL Players will get a $5M signing bonus in 2013, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday.
Rapoports reported that the signing bonus will be paid by the league in March.
NFL Players received a $10M signing fee for their 2012 season, and $2.1M for the 2013 season.
In the last two years, the league has received a total of $21.3M in signing bonuses for players and the team owners.
The total is just shy of the $24.4M in bonus money that the league received in the first four years of the new TV deal, and about $9M in total.
The deal includes a $100M cap, and the NFL is currently projecting that the TV money will generate about $10.5M in revenue for the league and its owners.
NFL teams are expected to make more than $3.6M in the 2013 NFL season.
